In His Presence “…into His courts with peaise …” Psalm 100:4
The Praise and Worship ministry of the MPIF is known as “In His Presence”. The aim is to draw men continually into the presence of the Almighty God in total adoration and thanksgiving. God alone is worthy of our praise, for His greatness is unsearchable, just as one generation declares His mighty acts unto another, so shall we speak of His wondrous works and the glorious Honour of His majesty. In love we shall pour out our whole being as a living sacrifice and the dept of our heart as a sweet smelling savour unto Him.
In MPIF we hold this ministry as a core value, a passion and an act of righteousness. It is to us:
- An act of total surrender to the Lordship of Jesus over our life. It is always an occasion to humble and submit ourselves to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
- A “gate-pass” which allows us to enter the sacredness of His glory. Praise is a vehicle of faith, which brings us into the presence and power of God.
- A place of habitation. God is enthroned in our praises. He inhabits our praises. God sits on a throne, so when we praise Him we are offering Jesus a throne to sit upon.
- It gives Him pleasure. God is worthy, to receive glory and honour and power, for He created all things for His pleasure.
- A time of fellowship. Just as it is in the beginning, even now He desires to visit us in the cool of the day.
- A blessing to offer Him sacrifices, the fruit of our lips. Praise is a gift and a blessing to God. He eagerly awaits the fragrance of our affections.
- A time of victory. When you praise and worship God, He manifests his power. His power saves, heals, and delivers.
Praise and worship is a condition of your heart, a willingness to express love, exalt God and yield to his will. It is now time for the true worshipers to worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is looking for such people. To worship God in truth, we need to know that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him. So, before you can worship in the way that God desires, you have to develop a relationship with Him through faith in Jesus, His Son.
When Jesus comes to establish His Kingdom, the body of Christ will usher Him with songs of praise. MPIF is therefore determined to ensure that every member makes praise and worship a lifestyle.
