Salvation God created man and crowned him with glory, to live in dominion and rule over the works of His hands. Our present lives of hopelessness, confusion, misery, depression, lack, sin, sickness, poverty, emptiness etc. proved that we are incapable of living the glorious lives that God has willed for us. God by His love and sheer generosity got us out of the mess we are in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. He did this by Jesus Christ. John 3:16.
God loved us so much that He sacrificed His one and only Son Jesus, to free us from our wrong ways of living, its consequences and to reconcile us back to Himself. He offered us so great a salvation, that we could have a second chance at life, an opportunity to experience a spiritual rebirth into a new and abundant life, a life of peace and love. 2 Corinthians 5:17. All you require to access this new life is faith in Jesus Christ. John 1:12.
Therefore to be saved, you need to confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Romans 10:9-10. If you are now ready to accept Him as your Lord and Saviour, please pray this simple, but important and life changing prayer
Dear Lord Jesus Christ,
I believe you shed your precious blood on the cross at Calvary for my salvation. I am sorry for the life that I have lived, have mercy on me and forgive my sins. I confess you as the Lord of my life, and with my heart I believe you are the Son of God and that God raised you from death to justify me. I ask that you come into my heart and be my Saviour and Lord as I now belong to you. Thank you Jesus for saving and accepting me. Amen.
