Word Encouter “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1

God created the universe by His word and sustains all things by the word of His power. The eternal Word became flesh in the person of Jesus and dwelt among us. We beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

To understand the word and be enriched by it, we have to ready, study and imbibe the Bible as truth to be understood, and as a living word from God addressed to us. The Bible is God's organ in communicating His will to men. His word is infallible, because it is written under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and therefore free from all error of fact, doctrine or precept.

The word is an indispensable means of salvation, it is our comfort in affliction, it is for our cleaning, the weapon of our warfare, it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that we be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Our heritage in God's word is enormous, therefore we should not alter or misuse it, not confuse it with man’s philosophy rather we should obey it, preach it, live by it and stand init. In MPIF our delight is in His word, we strive to encounter it daily, for in it:

  • We have divine nature. As the Word became flesh and dwelt among men, so God has purposed us (flesh) to become word, that Jesus shall be first among many brethren. In the word we have great and precious promises, that through them we participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world.
  • We are creative. The word as in the beginning is still creating today, as we speak, it shall not return void, it must accomplish and prosper in that for which it is sent.
  • We are transformed from glory to glory.  As we study and meditate on the word, we are with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord and will be changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
  • Is our source of nourishment and guidance.  We live not by bread alone, but every word of God, for it is the bread of life. We must meditate on it, obey it and follow its directions. He is the wisdom of God and in Him we live and move and have our being.

We invite you to join MPIF Word Encounter Ministry (WEM) and be a partaker of His divine nature.
